Heat star Tyler Herro pays area record $10.5 million for Miami mansion

It has been a nice first few days of 2023 for Miami Heat point guard Tyler Herro. On New Year’s Eve he had 29 points and hit a game-winning 3-pointer in a 126-123 win over the Utah Jazz.

Herro followed that with 23 points in a 110-100 win over the LA Clippers. While Miami is wrapping up a five-game, West Coast road trip, he will have a luxe place to come home to.

In late December, the fourth-year player paid $10.5 million for an estate in the Pinecrest neighborhood of Miami-Dade County. According to The Real Deal, a South Florida real estate news site, the price is a record for the Pinecrest area and more than double what was paid when the home was first bought in 2021. According to Robb Report, the home is one of nine properties to be sold for $8 million or more in the area.

Herro, who signed a 4-year, $130 million contract extension with the Heat in October, is getting his money’s worth from his new home. The 9,505-square-foot home has 8 bedrooms and 8 ½ bathrooms set in a tropical garden.

It is a modern-style home with floor-to-ceiling windows. The home includes imported materials including marble and wood from Brazil and Italy, according to Robb Report. There is also a wine cellar, a chef’s kitchen and an expansive media room.

Being South Florida, Herro can also enjoy the outdoors at his new digs. There is a large pool with a cabana and outdoor kitchen.
