Magic’s Suggs exits loss with left hand injury

Jalen Suggs, the No. 5 overall draft pick by the Orlando Magic, exited Thursday’s 108-71 loss to the Boston Celtics with a sore left hand.

Suggs had six points in 11 minutes before landing hard on a drive to the basket. He did not return to the NBA summer league game in Las Vegas.

Sam Hauser scored 21 points while making six of nine 3-pointers as the Celtics enjoyed a hot shooting night from long range in their third consecutive win.

Aaron Nesmith had 18 points and nine rebounds for Boston. Payton Pritchard had 17 points, 9 assists and 3 steals while making four 3s.

The Celtics made 19 3s.

Tahjere McCall led Orlando with 12 points.
