Villarreal punched their ticket into the Europa League final after a scoreless second-leg draw at Arsenal.

The Spanish side entered the match at Emirates Stadium nursing a 2-1 first-leg lead, and will now advance to play Manchester United in the final.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hit the post twice on either side of half-time during the nervy match in which the hosts pressed for a crucial goal.

For Villarreal, it will be their first European final while ex-Arsenal manager Unai Emery aims to win his fourth title in the competition. He won three while in charge at Sevilla FC.

The final will be held in the Polish city of Gdansk on May 26.
