Japan postpones all March cards due to virus

Boxing

The Japan Boxing Commission and the Japan Professional Boxing Association announced Wednesday that all cards scheduled in March would be called off due to the government’s call for the cancellation or postponement of sporting and cultural events to help contain the spread of the coronavirus.

The bouts scheduled in March will be rescheduled but not until the coronavirus situation plays out.

There is a card scheduled for Thursday at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo that will take place as planned.
