The 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend kicked off Friday with the celebrity game and Rising Stars Challenge.
Milwaukee Bucks star Jrue Holiday is filling in for injured team captain Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was slated to once again team up with his brothers — Thanasis and Alex — in the skills challenge. Meanwhile, Mac McClung, who won a high school dunk contest in 2018, is on the hunt to win at the NBA level. The second-ever NBA HBCU Classic game between Grambling State and Southern was also featured in Saturday’s action.
