Nets’ Irving to miss 7th game due to suspension

NBA

LOS ANGELES — Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving will remain out Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings as he continues a team-imposed suspension.

Irving was initially suspended on November 3 for “harmful impact of his conduct” relating to a social media post about a book and movie that contains antisemitic ideas.

Tuesday’s game marks the seventh straight game Irving will be out. It remains unclear when he will return to the floor.

The Nets also said that guard Seth Curry (ankle) and Nic Claxton (eye contusion) are probable for Tuesday’s game. Swingmen Ben Simmons (knee soreness) and Yuta Watanabe (lower back contusion) are questionable.

Simmons missed Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers due to some ongoing soreness in the same left knee that caused him to miss four games last week.
