Raptors top scorer Siakam out at least 2 weeks

NBA

The Toronto Raptors will be without leading scorer Pascal Siakam for at least the next two weeks.

The Raptors announced Sunday morning that their star forward has been diagnosed with a right adductor strain and will be reevaluated in two weeks.

He was injured in Friday night’s 111-110 loss to the Dallas Mavericks, leaving the game in the third quarter.

Siakam is averaging 24.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists this season, which would be career bests in each category. In addition to leading the Raptors in scoring average, he leads the team in rebounding average and is tied with Fred VanVleet for the team lead in assists.
