New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez has tested positive for COVID-19 after undergoing a rapid test, manager Aaron Boone told reporters Thursday.
Boone said Sanchez, 28, didn’t feel well either Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
PCR test results are pending, Boone told reporters.
Sanchez has a .216 batting average with 17 home runs and 39 RBIs this season.
