Kyle Mayers and Kevin Sinclair have missed out on selection
Allrounder Chase and middle-order batter Hetmyer featured in the Test and T20I legs of the just-concluded home series against South Africa, but Cottrell, the left-arm quick, has not played for West Indies since November 2020.
Batting allrounder Kyle Mayers – who made his ODI debut during the Sri Lanka series – and offspinner Kevin Sinclair – who was part of that squad but didn’t get a game – haven’t found a place in the squad, but Anderson Phillip, the fast bowler who made his ODI debut in the last match of that series, keeps his place in the side.
West Indies ODI squad: Kieron Pollard (capt), Shai Hope (vc), Fabian Allen, Darren Bravo, Roston Chase, Sheldon Cottrell, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Evin Lewis, Jason Mohammed, Anderson Phillip, Nicholas Pooran, Romario Shepherd.
