Toronto Raptors rookie guard Jalen Harris has been dismissed and disqualified from the NBA for violating terms of the league’s anti-drug program.

Harris, 22, is eligible to apply for reinstatement in one year.

The league announced Harris’ dismissal Thursday but did not disclose details of his violation.

A second-round pick out of Nevada, Harris played for the Raptors on a two-way contract and averaged 7.4 points and 13.2 minutes in 13 games this season. He is set to become a restricted free agent.
