LeBron hits 35,000-point mark in chase of all-time scoring mark

LeBron James is another milestone higher on his climb up the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

In the first half of Thursday’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets, James became the third player in league history to reach 35,000 points, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone.

Abdul-Jabbar tops the all-time scoring list with 38,387 points and Malone has 36,928. As it stands this season, James needs a little over 3,300 points to catch Abdul-JAbbar. In every season of his career, James has scored at least 1,500 points and gone over 2,000 points in a season 10 times.
