Source: Center Len plans to sign with Raptors

NBA

Free-agent center Alex Len plans to sign a one-year deal with the Toronto Raptors, a source told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal is for $2.3 million, the source said.

Len is the second free-agent center added by the Raptors after the team lost both Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol in free agency, to the LA Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers, respectively.

On Sunday, the Raptors agreed to a two-year, $14.3 million deal with center Aron Baynes with a team option for the second year, his agent, Daniel Moldovan, told ESPN’s Bobby Marks.

Len, 27, averaged 8.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 55 games for the Atlanta Hawks and Sacramento Kings last season. He has career averages of 8.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 467 games over seven seasons.
