UFC fighters react to Buckley’s spectacular KO of Kasanganay

Joaquin Buckley delivered a knockout that MMA fans won’t soon forget on Saturday.

Buckley, who faced Impa Kasanganay in a middleweight bout on Yas Island — dubbed “Fight Island” by the UFC — finished it in the second round in unique fashion.

Buckley threw a left high kick that Kasanganay caught with his left hand. Kasanganay then pushed Buckley’s left leg away, but Buckley spun in that direction and connected on a back kick to Kasanganay’s face. As Kasanganay dropped flat on his back, the fight was stopped at 2:03 of Round 2.

“This might be the greatest KO I’ve seen ever,” said color analyst Paul Felder.

Some of the UFC’s biggest stars agreed with Felder as they took to Twitter and heaped praise on Buckley.
