Steelers’ Pickens set to return after 3 games out

NFL

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens is off the injury report and set to play in Wednesday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Pittsburgh’s top receiver has missed the past three games with a hamstring injury. Coach Mike Tomlin had said on Sunday that there was a “real chance” Pickens would be able to play this week.

The Steelers, however, will be without cornerback Joey Porter Jr., who has been ruled out after suffering a knee injury in Saturday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Backup quarterback Justin Fields is questionable with an abdominal injury. He missed Saturday’s game with the same injury.
