Sources: Utah State WR Royals out for season

Utah State WR Jalen Royals will miss the remainder of the season, sources confirmed to ESPN.

Sources told ESPN’s Pete Thamel that it’s a foot injury that will sideline Royals, a first-team All-Mountain West selection last year.

Royals is viewed as one of the top upperclassmen receiving prospects for the NFL draft and one of the top Group of Five players this year. He’s viewed as a potential Top 150 draft prospect.

Royals had 55 catches for 834 yards and six touchdowns in seven games this season.

KSL.com first reported that Royals is out for the year.
