Series odds: Dodgers still on top, Phillies, Yanks behind them

MLB

With the MLB trade deadline behind us, the Los Angeles Dodgers remain the favorites to win the World Series. The Dodgers opened at +550, moved to +450 after signing Shohei Ohtani in the offseason and now sit at 3-1 at ESPN BET. The Philadelphia Phillies, top record in the National League, sit at +450, behind only the Dodgers.

The New York Yankees boast the best odds in the American League at 5-1 to win the World Series and +225 to claim the pennant after sweeping the Phillies in a three-game series this week. The Baltimore Orioles, who lead the Yankees in the AL East by half a game, are +700, followed by the NL Wild Card-leading Atlanta Braves at 12-1. The Braves opened the season as the second-favorite but have since lost Ronald Acuna Jr. for the season.

The defending champion Texas Rangers haven’t played up to their level from last season, and have seen their odds dip to 75-1 after opening the season at 10-1.

Note: Odds are as of publication time. For the most up-to-date odds, visit ESPN BET.
