The move is retroactive to Saturday for Paddack, who is dealing with right shoulder fatigue. He had been slated to start Thursday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Paddack, 28, is 5-3 with a 5.29 ERA in 15 games (all starts) this season. He is 27-24 with a 4.42 ERA in 83 career appearances (80 starts) with the San Diego Padres (2019-21) and Twins.
Henriquez, 24, tossed two scoreless innings of relief in his previous stint with the Twins. He is 1-2 with a 3.52 ERA and three saves in 22 appearances (one start) with the Saints this season.
