Cavs’ Allen, Magic’s Harris ruled out for Game 6

NBA

ORLANDO, Fla. — Cleveland Cavaliers big Jarret Allen and Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris have both been ruled out of Friday’s Game 6.

Allen, who is dealing with a right rib contusion, also missed Game 5 because of the injury. He was elbowed in the abdomen in Game 4, but returned in that game. At shootaround on Friday, he was seen wearing a wrap around his rib area.

Harris left Game 5 in the third quarter with a right hamstring strain. He went through two team walk throughs on Thursday and Friday before being ruled out.

Marcus Morris will start in place of Allen for Cleveland, while Jonathan Isaac will be reinserted into the starting lineup for Orlando.

Cleveland holds a 3-2 lead in the first-round series and has a chance to advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals for the first time since 2018 with a win Friday.
