Wisconsin sophomore AJ Storr entered the transfer portal on Thursday, immediately becoming arguably the best available transfer this spring.

Storr, a 6-foot-7 guard, was a second-team All-Big Ten selection after averaging 16.8 points and 3.9 rebounds this season.

The Illinois native was terrific in the Big Ten tournament, scoring 30 points in the quarterfinals against Northwestern, 20 against Purdue in the semifinals and 24 in the title game loss to Illinois. Earlier this season, Storr had back-to-back 28-point performances against Michigan State and Nebraska.

Storr began his career with one season at St. John’s, averaging 8.8 points and shooting 40.4% from 3-point range.

He’s the second member of Wisconsin’s rotation to enter the portal since the season ended, following guard Connor Essegian. The Badgers finished 22-14 this season, ending in a 72-61 loss to 12-seed James Madison in the NCAA tournament.
