WACO, Texas — Texas big man Dylan Disu had to be helped off the court after spraining his left knee in the Longhorns’ 93-85 loss to the 11th-ranked Baylor Bears on Monday night.

Disu fell to the floor and remained down after getting tangled up with a Baylor player as the Bears moved the ball the other way with just under 11 minutes left.

The 6-foot-9 forward grabbed at his left leg and was tended to for several minutes before he got up. He put no weight on his leg as he was helped to the locker room.

Disu missed the first nine games this season while recovering from a left foot injury sustained during the NCAA Tournament last season, in the same game he had 28 points and 10 rebounds against Penn State. He missed Texas’ Elite Eight loss to Miami and had surgery after the season.

In 10 minutes against Baylor, Disu had three points on 1-of-4 shooting with three assists, one rebound and three fouls.

The Associated Press contributed to this story.
