England will be without Cadan Murley for Saturday’s Six Nations match against France at Twickenham.
Murley, 25, scored England’s opener against Ireland in their 27-22 defeat in Dublin last weekend, but picked up a foot injury in the match, which was his Test debut.
That foot injury will see him sidelined for at least the next two weeks, but he has not been ruled out for the rest of the Six Nations.
With Murley sidelined, England have called up Saracens centre Alex Lozowski. Murley’s absence means England will have to re-jig their backline for the match against Fabien Galthié’s France.
France head to Twickenham off the back of a comfortable 43-0 win over Wales in their Six Nations opener.
Murley’s absence means England may look to Ollie Sleightholme or Tom Roebuck, or they could shift Freddie Steward to the wing and play Marcus Smith at fullback.
