Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb suffered a broken foot in Sunday’s 21-7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, another setback for the star, who had a devastating knee injury last season.
Chubb made his season debut in Week 7 after tearing his left MCL and sustaining damage to his meniscus and medial capsule in a Week 2 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last season.
He finished with 41 yards on nine carries in Sunday’s game and has rushed for 291 yards while scoring four touchdowns (three rushing) this season.
Meanwhile, quarterback Jameis Winston was pulled from Sunday’s game after he threw his third interception in the game. He was replaced by second-year quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who also was intercepted. Coach Kevin Stefanski would not commit to a starter for next week.
“You can’t have six turnovers and win,” Stefanski said. “At any level.”
