Falcons’ London scores TD, later ruled out (hip)

NFL

ATLANTA — Falcons wide receiver Drake London sustained a hip injury in the first half of Atlanta’s 27-21 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

He was ruled out of the game at halftime.

London caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Kirk Cousins with 5:23 left in the first quarter. He did not return after that. The third-year player went up for the catch in coverage and came down hard.

It was London’s sixth touchdown catch of the season, which ties his combined total from the previous two seasons. The total is also the most any Falcons receiver has had in a single season since 2020 (Calvin Ridley).

London came into the game tied for fourth in the league in receptions (48) and 13th in yards (525).
