NC State QB McCall injured, exits La. Tech game

NCAAF

NC State quarterback Grayson McCall has been ruled out for the remainder of the Wolfpack’s game against Louisiana Tech with an undisclosed injury.

McCall struggled early, going 9-of-13 for 54 yards. After leading a drive that resulted in a field goal, McCall was seen heading into the locker room with a towel over his head.

NC State did not describe the nature of the injury. True freshman quarterback CJ Bailey entered the game in place of McCall.

McCall transferred to NC State from Coastal Carolina in the offseason, hoping to lead the Wolfpack to an ACC championship. Instead, it has been a rocky start, as the Wolfpack came into Saturday off a 51-10 loss to Tennessee.
