Cincinnati Reds left-hander Nick Lodolo has been scratched from Tuesday’s start and was placed on the injured list with a sprained middle finger on his pitching hand, it was announced Tuesday.

Jakob Junis (4-0, 3.52 ERA), who has made 17 relief appearances since his only start of the season for the Brewers on April 2, will start in Lodolo’s place against the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday night.

Lodolo is 9-6 with a 4.76 ERA and 122 strikeouts this season. The IL move is retroactive to Saturday.

In other moves, the Reds called right-hander Casey Legumina from Triple-A Louisville. Left-hander Brandon Williamson, who is recovering from a left shoulder strain, is also joining Louisville on a rehab assignment.
