Sources: Oubre sticks with 76ers on 2-year deal

NBA

Free agent guard Kelly Oubre Jr., has agreed to a two-year, $16.3 million deal to stay with the Philadelphia 76ers, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal includes a player option on the 2025-26 season for the Sixers’ starting 2-guard, sources said.

Oubre, 28, was a surprise minimum signing by the 76ers last summer, but he turned into a reliable part of coach Nick Nurse’s rotation, averaging 15.4 points and 5 rebounds.

Oubre, the 15th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft, spent the first three-plus seasons of his career in Washington before playing for the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets and then landing in Philadelphia.

ESPN’s Tim Bontemps contributed to this report.
