Jets trading for Ravens RT Moses, sources say

NFL

The Baltimore Ravens are sending starting right tackle Morgan Moses to the New York Jets as part of a pick swap, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Wednesday.

The Jets will receive Moses and a fourth-round pick (No. 134 overall) while the Ravens will receive a fourth-round pick (No. 112) and a sixth-round pick (No. 218).

Moses becomes the second new offensive lineman added by the Jets, who aim to reinforce the protection for starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers. On Monday, the Jets agreed to a two-year contract with guard John Simpson, who started at left guard last season for the Ravens.

Moses, 33, played for the Jets in 2021, playing in all 17 games (16 starts) before he left as a free agent in 2022 to sign a three-year contract with the Ravens. He has started 31 games the past two seasons for the Ravens.
