Cornerback Darious Williams is finalizing a three-year deal to return to the Rams, sources told ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

The Jaguars released Williams on March 5 in a move that saved the team $10 million against the 2024 salary cap.

Last season, Williams tied his career high with four interceptions — taking one back for a touchdown — and forced two fumbles to go along with 53 tackles. He signed a three-year, $30 million contract with $18 million guaranteed with the Jaguars in March 2022.

Williams, who turns 31 on Friday, had four interceptions, two forced fumbles and 106 tackles in two seasons with the Jaguars.

Williams signed with Ravens in 2018 as an undrafted free agent. He played in three games before being cut and was claimed off waivers by the Rams. He played three-plus seasons with the Rams, intercepting six passes and recovering two fumbles.

For his career, he has 10 interceptions, 62 passes defended and 236 tackles.

ESPN’s Michael DiRocco contributed to this report.
