Beal (back) out for Suns opener, source says

NBA

Veteran guard Bradley Beal will have to wait to make his debut for the Phoenix Suns, as he is out for Tuesday night’s season opener against the Golden State Warriors, a source told Andscape’s Marc J. Spears.

Beal has been dealing with a back ailment and the Suns are being cautious.

He was listed on the NBA’s injury report as questionable for Tuesday with lower back tightness.

Beal was part of the offseason trade that landed Chris Paul in Golden State. He spent the first 11 years of his career with the Washington Wizards.

Devin Booker is listed as probable for the Suns with left big toe soreness.
