Sources: Bucks evaluating Portis for MCL sprain

NBA

Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis has suffered an MCL sprain in his right knee, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.

The Bucks are still working through a timeline on Portis’ return, sources said.

Portis suffered the same injury in 2018-19 with the Chicago Bulls and missed nearly seven weeks.

He had left Monday’s win over the Detroit Pistons early in the fourth quarter after grabbing a 10th rebound to record his 29th double-double of the season. He had already been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
