Warriors’ Curry practices in full, may play Tuesday

SAN FRANCISCO — Stephen Curry could return to the court as soon as Tuesday.

Curry, who has missed the past 11 games with a left shoulder subluxation, is listed as probable for the Golden State Warriors‘ matchup against the Phoenix Suns on the most recent injury report.

Warriors general manager Bob Myers and coach Steve Kerr said last week they were hopeful Curry would return by this weekend, when the team embarks on a five-game road trip.

On Friday, Curry said his return would happen “when I’m ready.” That day, Curry participated in contact and 5-on-5 work for the first time since getting injured.

“With this one, it’s kind of about getting through as much of the testing phase as possible,” Curry said Friday. “So if I can get a few more reps in, then I’ll be ready.”

On Monday, Curry was a full practice participant and scrimmaged again. He has been wearing a sleeve on his left arm, which he said is for both function and athletics.

Without Curry, the Warriors have gone 6-5, not including the game against Indiana when he got injured.
