Arjun Tendulkar scores century on Ranji Trophy debut, emulates father Sachin’s feat

Sachin had scored his maiden first-class century on debut for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy in 1988, against Gujarat, as a 15-year-old. Thirty-four years later, 23-year-old Arjun, whose primary role is that of fast bowler, had got to 112 not out by tea on day two of Goa’s game against Rajasthan, at Goa Cricket Association Academy Ground in Porvorim.
