Damian Lillard, aka Dame D.O.L.L.A. drops latest single

NBA

Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers are one game into their 2022-23 season and host the Phoenix Suns Friday night at the Moda Center. That seems like the perfect time to drop a new single.

On Friday morning, Lillard, aka Dame D.O.L.L.A., released the song “All Hail The King.” The track is Lillard’s first new music since the release of his most recent album “Different On Levels The Lord Allowed” in August 2021.

(Note: The song contains explicit language.)

At his day job, Lillard opened the season with 20 points in a 115-108 win over the Sacramento Kings. Last season, Lillard did not play after Dec. 31 and underwent surgery on an abdominal injury in January 2022.

Dame D.O.L.L.A. has released four studio albums. The 2019 album “Big D.O.L.L.A.” peaked at No. 12 on Billboard’s U.S. Indie chart. The 2020 tribute song “Kobe,” which featured Snoop Dogg, was on the soundtrack for NBA 2K21.
