Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner will miss the rest of the season, sources told ESPN, after being out since mid-January with a left foot stress reaction.
Turner, 25, has made good progress in his recovery, sources said, but both the organization and Turner’s representatives decided that it didn’t make sense to push for a ramp-up and return with only seven games left in the Pacers’ season.
Indiana is 25-50 and 13th in the Eastern Conference standings.
Turner, who led the NBA in blocks in the 2018-19 and 2020-21 seasons, averaged 12.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in 42 games this season.
