The home side were unchanged after a delayed start as they aimed to wrap up the series

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat against Australia

Mahmudullah won the toss and decided to set a target in the third T20I between Bangladesh and Australia. The toss was delayed by 90 minutes due to rain and a wet outfield, but eventually took place at 7pm local time without any overs lost.

While the hosts remained unchanged, the visitors made three changes to their XI from the previous match, including handing a debut to right-arm pace bowler Nathan Ellis, who came in for the rested Mitchell Starc.

The other two tweaks included replacing Josh Philippe and Andrew Tye for Ben McDermott and Dan Christian in what is a must-win match for Australia, as Bangladesh lead the five-match series 2-0.
