Social media responds to Dame’s record-setting Game 5 performance

Dame Time. You know what that means.

On Tuesday night, Damian Lillard put on an electric 55-point performance, becoming the first player in NBA history with at least 50 points, 10 assists and 10 three-pointers in a game, regular season or playoffs.

With his twelfth 3-pointer, the pride of the Portland Trail Blazers also displaced Klay Thompson (11) as king of the playoff three-pointer, breaking the Golden State Warriors star’s record for the most made 3s in a playoff game in NBA history.

Despite his clutch threes forcing the game to double overtime, the Blazers couldn’t hold it down, and the Denver Nuggets took this one at home, 147-140.
