Giannis ruled out vs. Bulls with right ankle sprain

NBA

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo was ruled out of Friday’s game against the Chicago Bulls with a right ankle sprain he suffered early in Thursday’s loss to the Houston Rockets.

Antetokounmpo played just 46 seconds Thursday before he appeared to step on the foot of Kelly Olynyk, rolling what was already an injured ankle. He limped to the locker room and spent a few minutes there before returning to the bench, where he sat for the rest of the game.

Antetokounmpo entered Thursday’s game listed as probable with a right ankle sprain.

Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo was also ruled out against the Bulls with toe soreness.
