New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley, who tore his ACL in Week 2 last season, is on track to be ready for the start of the 2021 season, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Barkley told the AP Pro Football Podcast in February that his surgically repaired knee was doing well but would not set a possible return date at that time.
Barkley had surgery on his right knee Oct. 30 in Los Angeles and has rehabbed at the Giants’ facility.
Barkley, the No. 2 selection in the 2018 draft, rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons.
