Saturday’s UFC Fight Night co-main event featuring lightweights Gregor Gillespie and Brad Riddell is off due to COVID-19 protocols, the promotion announced Saturday morning.

The event will continue on with 10 fights.

The plan is to reschedule the lightweight bout between Gillespie and Riddell to a later date.

The Song Kenan vs. Max Griffin welterweight bout will move into the co-main event spot on Saturday’s Fight Night card, per the UFC.

Gillespie (13-1), once considered a top prospect at lightweight, was trying to bounce back from the first loss of his career to Kevin Lee along with a 16-month layoff.

Riddell (9-1), a teammate of UFC champions Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski, has won six straight.

UFC Fight Night is headlined by a middleweight contender bout between Derek Brunson and the red-hot Kevin Holland, who went 5-0 in 2020.
