NBA

The Phoenix Suns are declining the $5.2 million team option on Frank Kaminsky‘s contract, making him an unrestricted free agent, a source tells ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Kaminsky averaged 9.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 39 games last season, his first with the Suns.

He has career averages of 9.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 321 games over five seasons.

The Charlotte Hornets selected him ninth overall in the 2015 draft and he spent his first four seasons with the team.
