Smith vs. Rakic: How to watch and stream, plus full analysis

MMA

Anthony Smith faces Aleksandar Rakic in the light heavyweight main event of UFC Fight Night on Saturday at the promotion’s Apex facility in Las Vegas.

The main card is on ESPN+, starting at 9 p.m. ET, and the prelims are on both ESPN and ESPN+ at 6 p.m.

Smith (38-15, 8-4 in the UFC) is coming off a brutal TKO loss to Glover Teixeira in May. He has lost two of his past three fights, with the first of those defeats being an unsuccessful challenge of then-champion Jon Jones in March 2019.

Rakic (12-2, 4-1 UFC) also is coming off a loss. He dropped a split decision to Volkan Oezdemir in December — Rakic’s first loss in his UFC bouts and his first loss overall since his pro MMA debut in 2011. He had won 12 in a row.

The co-main event features the return of former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler after an absence of over a year. Lawler, who has lost his past three bouts and four of his past five, takes on Neil Magny, who has won two in a row, most recently a unanimous decision over Anthony Rocco Martin in June.
