Former heavyweight title contender Carlos Takam (38-5-1, 28 KOs) takes on Jerry Forrest (26-3, 20 KOs) in the main event of Thursday’s Top Rank boxing card inside “the bubble” at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas.

But before that, a few good other fights are taking place on the undercard.

In the co-main event, unbeaten junior featherweight prospect Carlos Castro (25-0, 10 KOs) meets former title contender Cesar Juarez (25-8, 19 KOs) in a 10-round fight.

Joshafat Ortiz (7-0, 4 KOs) and Joshua Orta (6-0, 2 KOs) will fight in a six-round battle of unbeaten junior lightweight prospects.

Fred Wilson Jr. (6-0-2, 2 KOs) takes on Donte Stubbs (6-1, 2 KOs) in a six-round middleweight fight. Stubbs makes his second appearance inside “the bubble” in less than two weeks. On June 30, Stubbs lost a majority decision against Isiah Jones on the Alex Saucedo-Sonny Fredrickson undercard.

To start the show, Peter Cortez (2-1, 1 KO) faces Corey Champion (1-3, 1 KO) in a four-round welterweight bout.
