Best bets for Sunday’s NASCAR race at The Brickyard

NASCAR

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Indianapolis on Sunday for the Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 Powered by Big Machine Records.

Kevin Harvick won Saturday’s Pocono 325, and Denny Hamlin was victorious in Sunday’s Pocono 350. Who will take the checkered flag Saturday (4 p.m. ET) at Indianapolis Motor Speedway?

ESPN Fantasy’s Mike Clay and editor Scott Symmes offer their best bets for the race.

Note: Odds from Caesars Sportsbook as of Thursday, unless otherwise noted.

Best bets

Kevin Harvick (+400 at DraftKings)

Clay: It’s been seven years since Harvick has finished outside the top 10 at Indy. In fact, he hasn’t experienced a result worse than second since 2016. A first- and second-place finish at Pocono has him riding a wave of momentum to Indiana where he will defend last season’s commanding victory. He led nearly 75 percent of that race to score his second Brickyard win in six attempts. Harvick is the favorite for a reason and it’ll be a tall order to keep him from victory lane on Sunday.

Joey Logano (+750 at DK)
