‘About time’: Curry to suit up for Warriors on Thu.

NBA

The Golden State Warriors say guard Stephen Curry will return to the lineup Thursday night against the Toronto Raptors.

Curry has missed the last 58 games with a fractured left hand he suffered Oct. 30.

He’ll join a Golden State team that is an NBA-worst 14-48 on the season.

A return of Thursday had seemed likely after Curry went through a practice with the Warriors’ G League affiliate in Santa Cruz without issue Monday.

The six-time All-Star and two-time originally hoped to get back on the floor Sunday, but that return was delayed because Golden State coach Steve Kerr and the team’s medical staff wanted him to get some more scrimmage time. That came Monday with Santa Cruz.
